I was ready for qualifying, and immediately went ok. Car went fine, I was in the 1st timing caught behind by Stig Nielsen Lotus Cortina who drove slowly in turns and it became final finish time somewhat influenced by, but I got an acceptable 1.28 ....
Towards the end started the engine to put out at high revs and I had to relax and roll into. The result was a 13th place in the 65 class and 2 in 65 u/1300. which was ok in the circumstances. During the afternoon was unfortunately a bit of a painful affair ... I had worked hard all day to find the fault of the car, and blah. I had skif'tet a defective coil, bypass a wasted contact with fuel pump, but unfortunately developed the fault itself more and more in the heat. During heating, there was nothing to make, and I thought we had eliminated the error, but immediately after the start I felt that it was rapid mad. After bundgas a short while came misfiring, and the cars flew past me one by one, and finally came Ole survival over and I was now trailing space :-( However, I could hang on Ole throughout the heat by running economy driving - max 4500 rev / min - and I hoped all the time that I just could not get shot enough for the rocket to go by the end but the heat ended with a last place, but still completed and I got my points for the championship and it was just as important ... After having swallowed the pill, I went back in time to troubleshoot, and this time I was convinced that it was a fuel problem, and the ka could say that it was ... Look at the image above.
