WESTERN Province Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba has directed Western Water and Sewerage Company (WWSC) board chairperson Nabwika Imikendu ge smartwater filter mwf to immediately suspend managing director Justin Liyali for failure to carry out water projects in the province and for displaying gross indiscipline.
In a letter to the board chairperson dated July 8, and copied to Local Government Permanent Secretary, Mr Mwamba said Western Water and Sewerage management were given 45 days to complete a water and reticulation project in Sichili in Mulobezi District and despite the lapse of time the project had not been done to date.
He said he had given repeated verbal warnings to Western ge smartwater filter mwf Water and Sewerage Company management and other provincial heads in the provincial management meetings to ensure that projects and programmes were carried out without delay so that service delivery could be appreciated.
Mr ge smartwater filter mwf Mwamba also directed the provincial education officer, Myuyangwa Kamutumwa to ensure that the re-entry policy on pregnant girls was enforced in all education centres including mission schools and private schools.
