The FIBALON polymer pool filter media looks first like large cotton balls. The polymer pool filters

Lightweight clarcor weight, versatile and very receptive, these are just three of the many plus points of the novel filter material FIBALON polymer pool filter in contrast to conventional filter media such as sand or glass granules. You always clarcor want to have clear water in your pool / swimming pool? Then read on and be convinced!
The FIBALON polymer pool filter media looks first like large cotton balls. The polymer pool filters are made in a coordinated mixture of different polyester fibers and with various surface structures.
The core of the fiber ball consists clarcor of a compacted mixture of fibers, which is enclosed by a softer coat. Soft surface, the filter balls nestle well together and so form a continuous filter surface. The new filter media can be so perfectly adapted to all types of filter systems (sand filter or cartridge filter). When filling the filter medium must not be pressed, otherwise poor result when filtering. The high volume of spherical shape and doing very light weight lead, compared to sand filters with other filter material, an excellent energy balance. clarcor
The newly developed process of dynamic fiber fixation (short DyFix) the dirt particles are retained. The dirt particles are compressed by the pressure inside the filter ball. The softer wrapping the filter sphere can therefore absorb new contaminants. The material FIBALON polymer clarcor pool filter can absorb many times its own weight, similar to a sponge.
Filter performance: higher capacity than sand or cartridge filters with conventional fillings high selectivity by novel fiber structure no sand in the pool and no problems with sanded seals
Handling: Easy handling due to low weight of polymer FIBALON Pool Filter (25 kg sand = 350 g Fibalon) clarcor universally applicable (full replacement of cartridge filters and sand filters) does not cake like conventional quartz clarcor sand (filter sand) together maintenance-friendly medium clarcor backwashed
Sustainability: up to 40% savings in energy simple (depending on the filter system) Disposal recyclable durable (via domestic waste) Cost saving: clarcor high filtering speed (Fibalon about 50 m / h over silica sand with only 1.5 m / h) very low pressure before and after filters clarcor = reducing energy consumption
FIBALON polymer pool filter can be used anywhere where conventional sand filters or cartridge filters are used. The recommended diameter of the filter should be greater than 200 mm. The flow direction is in most filter systems from top to bottom. The very light weight and porous structure of the polymer FIBALON filter material provide before and after the filter for a very small pressure clarcor difference. Measurable this very small pressure difference only in the lower two-digit clarcor millibar range.
The resistance to many chemicals owes the FIBALON polymer filter material clarcor to approximately 100% recyclable polyester fibers. The filter material is characterized by the excellent depth and a low pressure loss. The filtering efficiency is in laboratory tests 99% and selectivity is (without polymer) at about 10 microns. The FIBALON polymer filter material clarcor is also available with FCA (Food-Contact-Application).
The applications are unlimited: in sand filters or cartridge filters in the pool / swimming pool. More FIBALON polymer fiber filter at the Aquarium and industry commitment. To the filters for aquarium and industrial contact us please!
Disconnect the pool pump from the power supply opening the filter housing Complete emptying of the befindlichem in the filter canister filter material (silica sand, glass granules or filter cartridge) rinsing the filter, so that no residues in the filter remain filling of the filter canister with FIBALON polymer pool filter (completely clarcor up to the opening of the container) distributing the Remove balls, but please do not press! By compressing the pool filter, otherwise clarcor the filter results deteriorated. Close the filter container (see manufacturer's instructions) Regular review of the flow
We recommend, just like when using silica sand to activate the backwash regularly. When using FIBALON polymer filter material of the pressure increase is only about 20 mbar and the automatic backwash does not fire. Therefore, please pay attention to your manual backwash!

In addition to the certificate of the "Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg-Simon-Ohm" and nominated for the "Oscar of technical textiles" (INDEX 14 Award, http://www.edana.org), our polymer filter FIBALON and the Oeko-Tex seal.
